Greetings Purdue Preceptors!

Welcome to the continuing education page developed specifically for preceptors in our Experiential Learning Program. We value your commitment to the education of future pharmacists and are extremely grateful for your participation in the experiential learning portion of the PharmD Program.

In an effort to express our gratitude for your service, we are offering several CE programs for free and connecting you with many other options for preceptor training through other professional pharmacy websites as well.  Purdue recently partnered with CEImpact to provide both clinical practice updates and professional development (precepting/mentoring) content to all of our preceptors.  This website can be accessed here www.ceimpact.com/ and then you can select "Preceptors" or "Pharmacists" depending on the content you wish to complete.  The access code is PURDUE18 for all courses.  In addition, we still have a link to our homegrown clinical practice updates for your review.  This is the same material we have our P4 students review during rotations and is taught by our clinical faculty.  This can be accessed at www.distance.purdue.edu/icm using the access code BUPU100.

At the bottom of this page you will also find a list of other preceptor development and training programs from around the internet.  Some of these do charge a fee and they are not specific to Purdue.

We hope you will find a variety of CE opportunities available to match your interests and needs through this site.  Thank you again for your dedication to our students and the profession.

Boiler Up!
